Key findings

In 2020, the Police recorded 9 crimes motivated by hatred against Muslims. The Police of the Czech Republic also recorded 4 crimes motivated by hatred towards Arabs. Xenophobic groups spread hateful ideas against migrants and Muslims in particular. Media engaged in the dissemination of hateful prejudices presented content directed primarily against Muslims, immigrants, and Roma. There was also a case of an endorsement of the attacks on the mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. Online comments against migrants and supporters of migration policy were numerous.
